Services

Breastfeeding support in your pocket – for two full weeks.
This service offers two weeks of unlimited text-based support from an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), available via text message or email. It’s ideal for general breastfeeding guidance and reassurance around normal newborn behaviour.
Please note that this service does not include phone or video calls. In rare cases, if I feel your situation would be better supported through a video consultation or in-person visit, I may recommend this as an additional step.
You’ll receive kind, professional support with guaranteed replies within 24 hours – though I usually respond much sooner. I generally don’t reply between 10:30pm and 8:30am, so I can also rest and recharge to support you as best I can.
While the booking system may show a 15-minute appointment, this is simply to secure your place – your support will continue via message or email for a full two weeks from your selected start date.
If you have any urgent medical concerns or are experiencing an emergency, please contact your GP, the out-of-hours doctor, or attend your local Emergency Department immediately.

This service is provided via email, and you’ll receive a response by the end of the next business day. I’ll do my best to reply sooner, but please know that I also respect my boundaries and aim to maintain a manageable workload.
Once you’ve booked, I’ll send you clear instructions over email on how and what to measure. You’ll then provide your nipple measurements, and answers to the questions asked.
Based on this, I’ll recommend a starting flange size and type to help you find a more comfortable fit for your pumping setup.
Please note: This service focuses exclusively on determining the appropriate flange size to start with and does not include breastfeeding support or assistance with breast pumps beyond flange fitting.
As this is a remote service, the recommended size is a starting point. Flange sizes can change naturally over the course of your breastfeeding or pumping journey, so adjustments may be needed as time goes on.
Also, while the booking system shows a 15-minute appointment, this is simply to secure your place. The support you’ll receive via email will extend beyond this, ensuring you get the help you need.

Initial Breastfeeding Consultation
This consultation takes place at my clinic just outside Mullingar (N91 RD70) and typically lasts around 90 minutes.
During our time together, we will talk through any concerns, difficulties, or questions you have about breastfeeding or pumping. We will also explore your personal feeding goals and create an individualised care plan that feels right for you.
Ahead of your appointment, you will receive an intake form by email. This form gathers information about your medical history, any previous breastfeeding experiences, your pregnancy, and the birth of your baby.
Please complete it as best you can — it helps me prepare to support you in the most tailored way possible. If there are any parts you’re unsure about, don't worry; we can go through them together at your appointment.
During the consultation, I will assist you with latching, positioning, and getting comfortable. Together, we will work to identify any underlying causes for the challenges you and your baby are experiencing. From there, we will develop a care plan you feel confident about, with the aim of helping you reach your own unique breastfeeding goals.
Every breastfeeding journey is different — and every goal is valid.
Whether you're working toward exclusive breastfeeding, exclusively expressing milk, combining breastfeeding with formula, or finding a combination that works for your family, I am here to support you. Sometimes we may also explore different tools and strategies to help you meet your goals.
A breastfeeding problem usually has a breastfeeding solution, and I will do my best to help you find a path forward that feels right for you.
Please note:
If you require a flange fitting, please book that as a separate appointment. There will not be sufficient time during this consultation for a full flange fitting.
